making bacon -canadian road trip:\u00a0 <\/strong>we took a little detour from the construct canada <\/em>show today and spent the morning looking at (what else) zinc projects in and around the greater toronto area.\u00a0 all the projects rocked in their own way.\u00a0 and, like children, we love them all.\u00a0 or, perhaps more germane, like maple syrup and bacon, we dig \u2018em both. \u00a0(eh.)\u00a0 however\u2026<\/p>\n the photo above is of pigmented zinc (we call it \u201cpigmento\u201d) being installed on a new courthouse in kitchner -north of toronto.\u00a0 the pigmented zinc comes in three flavors, and, if one looks closely, in multiple widths, textures and dimensions.\u00a0 in this case, the courthouse is sporting multiple widths of an interlocking panel.\u00a0 (more info can be found on the interlocking panel used on this project at www.vmzinc-us.com<\/a><\/a>).\u00a0 in addition, the soffit panels will be dri-design panels sauteed in zinc.\u00a0 (www.dri-design.com<\/a><\/a>).\u00a0<\/p>\n now, before we get called out for always talking about zinc, (sidebar:\u00a0um, check out the name of the blog), let us share a great video link for this project:\u00a0 http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/c6whl4k<\/a><\/a> .\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>this video shows the project being built from the moment it comes out of the ground to\u2026 well, let’s just say that it is a very tasty treat for those that are so inclined.\u00a0 forgive the weak metaphor\u00a0<\/em>-kind of like canadian bacon.\u00a0 enjoy. -vm\u00a0\u00a0
