Check out this student housing done in Barcelona Spain. The Architect, MAP, had chosen VM ZINC to clad the façade with a 1” standing seam panel. Personally I’m on the fence about this project and not sure if I like it or not. What do you think?

Check out this Train station in Wuhan China. The Architect, China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group, had chosen aluminum honeycomb panels for their absolute flatness. There are several advantages of honeycomb over ACM. One of them is that there is no Oil canning. Another one is its instant and 100% recyclability since it is made entirely out of aluminum. Hunter Douglas provided the panels. If you want to see the difference, check out the fourth picture (different project) in this post

The tensioned fabric gently defines the large area on the ground floor while keeping the outside light flowing to the interior. From inside, views are unimpaired. The addition of copper shimmer helps to keep the appearance of the fabric in an ever changing mode. Read here:http://bit.ly/lkY3hx

Set near the Houhai Street of Shenzhen Bay, the Shenzhen Poly Grand Theatre, designed by Shenzhen Huazhu Engineering Design Co., Ltd., is a landmark building. The building’s sleek design evokes a piece of high-tech equipment, or perhaps a drop of water. Viewed from above, its silver contour gleams under the sunlight, reflecting its surroundings in the Luxalon® 20mm Quadro Cladding Panels and 2.5mm custom aluminum panels provided by Hunter Douglas.
