Architect: Austin-Smith Lord has completed the distinctive new 8,800m2 regional office for the Welsh Assembly Government at Llandudno Junction, rated as the greenest public building in Wales. To reduce the risk of excessive solar heat gain within the building, Levolux developed a custom Solar Shading solution using a custom arrangement of motorised, vertical Fins, to help maintain internal temperatures naturally, without the need for energy-sapping air conditioning.
