To reduce the risk of excessive solar heat gain within the building, Levolux developed a custom Solar Shading solution using a custom arrangement of motorised, vertical Fins, to help maintain internal temperatures naturally, without the need for energy-sapping air conditioning. The Amgen Helix Pedestrian Bridge” by Johnson Architecture and Planning celebrates complexity, which is apt, since it serves as the gateway to The Amgen Research and Development Center, in Seattle.
