The State of Nevada is well known for the Black Rock Mountain. The Nevada Museum of Art in Reno, NV reflects this desert landmark with a solid appearance broken by large expanses of Glass on the lower level. The play of light and shadow on the sweeping upward curves and contrasting planar surfaces of the façade, for which the architect, Will Bruder, used several cladding techniques in Anthra Zinc.

The Al-Omari Mosque is an early Islamic-era mosque in the Roman city of Bosra, Syria. The mosque is one of the oldest surviving mosques in Islamic history. It was founded by Caliph Umar, who led the Muslim conquest of Syria. The mosque was completed in 721 by the Caliph Yazid II The architect for the recent renovation was Youssef Haidar. The roof is a VM Quartz Zinc standing seam system

Yep, it is almost this time of the year again. The East Coast is preparing for Hurricanes and Louisiana already saw their first Tornado. Here in Colorado we are a little bit cooler about it. Having said that, the Colorado Front Range experiences tornados and hurricane force winds all the time. After all, 74mph equals Hurricane winds. The resulting damage is sometimes significant. If your future building is a school, or a kindergarten you might want to look into a roofing system that is Hurricane tested and Tornado approved.

Levolux offers precise control over lighting levels With 1,900m² of display space and a street facing elevation dominated by a glass façade, Sheffield’s new Millennium Galleries make maximum use of daylight while employing external aerofoil fins and venetian blinds from Levolux to offer precise control over lighting levels. The project was designed by Pringle Richards Sharratt Architects.

With a nod to 1970’s supergraphics, Juan’s familiar face was etched onto the three-story high screen of Omega 1520 and attached with extended loops. The result: a very 2005 air of sophistication and ethereal elegance gracing East 57 Street in New York. This was designed by Hariri & Hariri Photography: Paul Worchol.

Saint Nichan is the cathedral church of the Armenian Orthodox community of Lebanon. It was built in 1938 in the typical Armenian church architectural-style, but with some Art Déco features.. The cathedral was restored in 2004 using VM Anthra Zinc as roofing material. Architect(s): Meguerditch Yapoujian, Pierre Neema
