The Healthcare, Educators, Leaders & Innovators Complex (HELIX) will serve as a collaboration and office space for University of Utah Health faculty and staff. With the aging School of Medicine (Building 521) at the end of its useful life, HELIX will become the new home for many School of Medicine departments and occupants. The new building will offer U of U Health faculty and staff the environment and attributes needed to do their best work. (source)

If you are looking for a place to work out, have fun and enjoy some amazing facilities, you might want to check out the new South-East Aurora Rec Center. This state-of-the-art, 61,000 sf building is the latest addition to the city of Aurora’s network of community and recreation centers. What’s more, it was funded entirely by the tax revenue from marijuana sales. The design was done by Populous Architects, a renowned firm with global experience, and the installation was handled by Douglas Colony, a local contractor with a reputation for excellence. One of the striking features of the building is the facade, which is covered with Abet Laminati facade panels, a durable and aesthetic material that enhances the appearance and performance of the structure.

This project was installed using the Stonewood Stacking system. Very fast installation for a hidden fastener system and NFPA 285 rated if needed. Krueger Brothers Roofing was happy with the installation and so are we. The food is not bad either.
Weidner Field is the new downtown stadium in Colorado Springs. The stadium is part of the City for Champions projects. Stonewood was used in a variety of applications.

The Inn at Cherry Creek has a nice little Nightclub at the back of their Hotel. Edge construction installed the GKD Mandarin Bronze over the bar. I think it looks great. It is hard to take a good picture in a nightclub…
Southam and Associates sent a few pictures of the Stonewood installation at a DMV in Nevada. I think the the architect chose exactly the right product for this application and Southam and Associates enjoyed installing it.
